The Division:
Ediwise is a leading provider of SaaS applications and EDI integration solutions used in the Pulp and Paper industry. Our parent company is Constellation Software Inc, a well-capitalized, publicly traded company that specializes in vertical market software. The Position:
We are seeking a web application developer to join our team in building scalable, high-quality, and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. As part of a small Agile development team, this is a great opportunity to be engaged in all activities in the development life cycle.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
Develop and debug the Ediwise suite of web applications and EDI integration solutions
Innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
Work with both external customers and internal team members to analyze business needs and design solutions
Keep current with technology trends and use to innovate web applications accordingl
Required skills:
Knowledge of the .NET Framework stack, including .NET 4.8, .NET Core, Azure Logic Apps, Azure App Service, Visual Studio 2019 and ASP.NET Web API
Experience with C#, SQL, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AngularJS and Angular
Experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer and Data Access Layer)
Experience working with Azure DevOps to manage the development process
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field
Microsoft certifications would be an asset
Soft skills:
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English
Ability to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines while delivering quality results
Problem solving skills and critical thinking
Self-motivated and apply appropriate judgement and decisions
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
